Egypt is moving forward to the 3rd of July road map, after the great revolution of 6/30/2013. Despite terrorism by the Muslim Brotherhood and all the challenges, the greatness of the Egyptian people lies in their strong will and unity.
US and foreign media are still calling June 30, 2013 a “military coup”, while Egyptians were choosing their next president! Describing the popular uprising as a coup and alleging that Egypt is ruled by oppressors and murderers, doesn’t match with reality in Egypt. Millions of Egyptians, both Muslims and Christians, participated with their votes in the presidential elections 26, 27 and 28 May 2014.

THE UNOFFICIAL TALLY (Official results to be announced by June 5th) out of 53 million eligible votersTOTAL VOTES: 25,021, 378EL-SISI VOTES: 23,264,306SABAHI VOTES: 734,300INVALID VOTES: 1,022,722
Approx. 5 – 7 million voters were not allowed to vote because they live in cities in Egypt that they are not registered in. It was decided that people must vote in their original cities, not where they currently reside, in order to avoid duplicate votes. When the Muslim Brotherhood was in power, they allowed voting by email which caused countless numbers of forgeries. In this election, unlike the one where the Muslim Brotherhood swept to power, candidates were not allowed to bribe voters with food and other supplies.

Long lines waiting to vote
On the first day of voting, Muslim Brotherhood supporters (a minority) spread rumors to the media that the Egyptian people, especially the youth, were boycotting the elections and there no long queues at the polls, a rumor that was quickly picked up by the Western/American media. What the media did not report was that the Muslim Brothers throated to stage terror attacks if the people didn’t boycott the election. The purpose of these rumors was to make it sound to the international community that Egyptians are divided about what happened on June 3o, 2013.

Posters for el-Sisi
But the threats didn’t work. The Military and the police forces totally secured 14,000 polling places all over the republic. The millions of Egyptians who revolted on 30/6/2013 against Muslim Brotherhood terrorists, are the same brave Egyptians who participated in the presidential elections without fearing any threats or terror attacks.
Special thanks and all my respect to all Egyptian great women, who participated strongly in this elections. The Egyptian women have showed the whole world that they are not just half of the community, but they are leaders and a very honorable example for the next generation.

Long lines at the polls
Special thanks to all those Egyptians who voted for Sabahy, too, at least they took the trouble, stood in long queues for hours under a very hot temperature, and were positiv. This is the real democracy that we need to learn. Accept all opinions, even if we disagree with them.
Special thanks and all appreciation and respect to our brave military and police forces, who did their duty in organizing and protecting all Egyptians who went and voted in the presidential elections.

Egypt’s Coptic Pope Tawadros II casts his vote in the presidential elections at a polling station in Cairo on May 26, 2014. Hailed as a saviour for overthrowing an Islamist president, former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi can count on the vote of Egypt’s Coptic Christians who view him as a bulwark against fundamentalists.
Words can not describe how happy and proud I am, that we are moving forward to the road map, and we are learning what democracy means and we are also learning from our previous mistakes. I don’t feel frustrated anymore from the fierce US media campaign against Egypt, because the more they attack us, the more we know, that we are on the right track.

General el-Sisi surrounded by Security at the polls
I cannot forget the blood of all our martyrs from armed forces, police and innocents citizens, who paid their own lives, so we live and celebrate this moment.
Egyptians did not vote for oppressors and murders or for the police state like
Hamdeen and US media are claiming. Egyptians voted with their free will to the man, they believe he will lead the country to a better future for all Egyptians, with the help and the hard work of all Egyptians.
