Golden girl Jessica Ennis has been hailed as the face of today’s Britain, as figures revealed mixed race people are among the fastest-growing ethnic minority groups in the country.
The 26-year-old Olympic heptathlete, of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, is engaged to white construction worker Andy Hill, while her father Vinnie is from Jamaica and her mother Alison is from Derbyshire.
At least 1million people were born to mixed race parents, the 2011 census is expected to reveal on Tuesday - but experts believe the actual figure could be twice as much, reported the Sunday Times.

It comes as a poll by think tank British Future revealed only 15 per cent of Britons are uncomfortable with mixed race marriages - a figure which is dramatically down from 40 per cent two decades ago.
Only one in 20 people aged 18 to 24 would be uncomfortable if their child was in a relationship with someone of a different race - and they are more worried about them marrying a richer person.
Jessica Ennis was not just the face of the Olympics this summer,’ British Future director Sunder Katwala told the Sunday Times. ‘She could stake a fair claim to be the face of the census too.’
British Indians are expected to be revealed in the census data as the largest ethnic minority group in the country, but the figure of mixed race people has shot up from 677,000 in the 2001 census.

A British Future spokesman said: ‘When the parents of Olympic champion Jessica Ennis, who are from Jamaica and Derbyshire, met in Sheffield in the 1980s, a majority of the public expressed opposition to mixed race relationships.

But their survey found only 42 per cent of people could correctly identify Ennis, who won gold at the Olympics in August, as mixed race. Among the under-16s age group, mixed race people are already thought to be the largest minority.
The survey also found women are more comfortable with mixed race marriages than men by 66 to 58 per cent. The most tolerant region is Scotland, with only 9 per cent feeling uncomfortable with them.
THIS IS Disgusting. This is what happens when a nation is brainwashed, when it's forced upon us on the TV, in the press and taught in schools from an early age, they grow up not thinking or realising that a mixed race marriage not only waters down the White race, but it is stated in the Bible that race mixing is a sin, it's a big no no.

However, there was one man and his family that found grace in the eyes of the Lord, who was perfect in his generations; in other words, he was racially pure. Basically as a nation we are now finished. We are no longer English and we are no longer British, the governments of past and present have made sure of that, they have turned us in to a land of Nomads, for the few of us who know what's happening, we are turned on and called racists because of the constant brainwashing they have had, we are laughed at because there are so many different nationalist parties who are bickering at one another, to the point we all become a big joke to the public.
Even the EDL leaders are all in favour of race mixing, i have no time for the EDL what so ever, they call the British National Party racists, they have no right to do that when they know full well they are not racist at all, but it doesn't really matter anymore what anyone thinks, because it's now to far gone to reverse our once great nation.
The White race is dying out out anyway because of the millions of Muslims that have invaded our country, and now on top of that, our very own White people are helping them by race mixing.
We are no longer a Christian country. David Cameron has made a mockery of the Church by saying that all Churches should allow gay marriages to be preformed, again the Bible has a lot to say about homosexuals, if you have a bible, have a look at Romans Chapter 2, it tells you how bad it is for two men to be together, it is one of the biggest sins man can do, and Cameron has now give the go ahead for gays to be married in Gods own church. The bible also tells of Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed because of all the homosexual activities taking place there. Cameron has helped to turn Great Britain in to another Sodom and Gomorrah.
So now we have mixed race marriages, gay marriages and a country which suppports it, we have Muslims in their millions taking over our country and a government who supports that. Great Britain is no more, and the Great went went out of it a long time ago.
